The End Of GL = The Death Of Soap Opera

Just this past Friday,a major event in TV happened that not many people may have seen.The Longest Scripted Television Program In The World came to an end on Friday September 18th 2009.That show was Guiding Light.

I wasn`t a big fan of Guiding Light but i did started watching it when Phillip Spaulding made his return in 2009.I then started getting wind on what was going on and i got interest in it (After i was done with General Hospital...don`t ask me why) but anyway i was comfortable watching Guiding Light until April Fools Day 2009 echoed a dark messege throughout the entire TV World.

CBS announced that Guiding Light would end in September 2009.I wasn`t crushed but quite saddened that this legacy of a show was ending.It had been on air for so long that i was quite upset for CBS to do such a thing.

However time went by and i tuned out of Guiding Light,unable to face its oncoming fate.There was little hope for the show as a band of fans gathered to try and save the show which i thought was very touching.

Come judgement day for GL i decided to tune in and loved it.Alan`s death,Reva & Josh,Phillip,and the 12 month flashforward was great.

However the cancellation of GL has issued the remaining soaps a dark,echoing warning that may change Daytime Television forever.

Judgement Day for the soaps is coming.

TNA No Surrender Predictions And Cornette

Being a fan of Wrestling gives me so much love for so many things for the sport.I love the action,love the storylines(when they are good) and the personalities of the wrestlers.This is everything TNA IS doing.So No Surrender is drawing near and so i believe i should give my predictions for the upcoming PPV.Here they are.

Match 1

The Beautiful People Vs Taylor Wilde & Sarita

Tag Team Match To Crown The First TNA Knockout Tag Team Championship

Prediction - Taylor Wilde & Sarita

Reason - I know neither of these teams.Angelina Love left back to the mountains to live like a troll.I know Wilde is quite talented in the ring and not some sex symbol that Vince Mac would dream about at night next to the creature he calls her wife.But anyway these two would be good champions but i hate this idea.We do not need these titles.TNA are introducing them just to give a fingers up to WWE because they have a better Womens Division than they do.

Match 2

Eric Young Vs Hernandez

Prediction - Eric Young

Reason - If he is a heel then he needs a boost.Young is great talent and i think one day he will be a big star for TNA.

Match 3

Beer Money Inc (James Storm & Robert Roode) & Team 3D (Brother Ray & Brother Devon) Vs The Main Event Mafia (Scott Steiner & Booker T) & The British Invasion (Brutus Magnus & Doug Williams)

Lethal Lockdown Match

Prediction - Beer Money Inc & Team 3D

Reason - The MEM bore me beyond death and The BI are talented but just annoying.BM & 3D should get the win

Rhino vs Bobby Lashley

Prediction - Lashley

Reason - Why Not

Match 5

Kevin Nash (C) Vs Abyss

$50,000 Bounty Challenge for The TNA Legends Championship.Nash wins he gets money,Abyss Wins he gets the title.

Prediction - Abyss

Reason - Hate these type of matches.And Nash does my tits in very much.Abyss needs to win and end this dumb stupid storyline.

Match 6

ODB Vs Cody Deaner

Intergender Match For The Vacant TNA Knockouts Championship

Prediction - ODB

Reason - If Deaner wins,The4 Horseman can claim my soul now

Match 7

Samoa Joe (C) Vs Daniels

TNA X Division Championship

Prediction - Joe

Reason - This will be a great match.Joe should retain despite in my opinion he is too big for another X Division reign.

Main Event

Kurt Angle (C) Vs AJ Styles Vs Matt Morgan Vs Sting

Four Way For The TNA World Heavyweight Championship

Prediction - Angle

Reason - I plan to see Angle/Styles at BFG (And Sting to still win to continue his "Taker Parody Streek" but Angle is running TNA basiclly.Everything revoles around Angle in some way.He is the most famous face on that roster.

Thats my prediction folks.

Oh and also ill talk about Cornette`s apparant release from TNA.This is good for Cornette because he didn`t do anything on TNA apart from shout and scream.So there.
